Maureen

Owner | Vancouver

​

With over 10 years of aquatic experience, Maureen aims to create and fun and safe environment for students of all ages and abilities to thrive in. Her collective experience as a lifeguard, public swim instructor, swim club athlete and assistant coach come together during lessons as she combines swimming with basic lifesaving skills. She understands the difficulties in learning swimming and knows how to adapt all lesson plans to fit the students' individual needs. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics of swimming to a seasoned pro looking to improve their technique, Maureen has a collection of tools in her toolbox that will get you to your goals!

Fun fact: Maureen used to compete in at a

National level for Olympic Weightlifting! 

Kendyl

Instructor | Vancouver & Burnaby

Kendyl has over 4 years of aquatic experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor in Alberta. She aims to bring fun and a love of swimming to all of her students! She strives to make her lessons a welcoming space for people of all different ages and skill levels. She brings her imagination to her lessons when working with little ones to make it a fun and engaging experience. For adult swimmers it is important to Kendyl that her clients feel comfortable and in control so she is always sure to go at a pace that the client is comfortable with. Kendyl loves working as a swimming instructor because she likes to see people's goals for swimming met and their love for the water grow!

Fun fact: Kendyl is a local actress!

Marisa

Jessica

Instructor | Vancouver & Victoria

​Marisa was born and raised in Victoria, BC where she found a passion for the pool at a very young age. She competed competitively at both the provincial and national levels. Determined to share her love for swimming with others, Marisa began teaching swimming lessons on Vancouver Island. Over her 4 years of teaching, she has had the opportunity to teach various ages, from parent-and-tot lessons to preschool aged to adult classes, both in a group and private settings. Marisa loves to make her lesson experience fun by incorporating games and songs while teaching important skills! During adult lessons, Marisa utilizes her competitive swimming background to provide valuable feedback to challenge swimmers to meet their personal goals and increase confidence in various swimming strokes. Marisa looks forward to sharing her passion for the pool with all of her swimmers!

Jessica has been in the water since the age of three when she was put in swimming lessons. Now with four years of experience as a swim instructor, she loves helping swimmers of all ages build confidence and skill. She creates a fun, safe learning environment, whether teaching beginners or refining strokes for advanced swimmers. Jessica teaches of all ages and believes in tailoring lessons to each swimmer’s needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported. She enjoys making lessons engaging with games and interactive activities. Outside the pool, Jessica loves hands-on crafts like crocheting and working with air-dry clay, always finding new ways to be creative.
